Pray For Me

   Although this is by no means a comprehensive list, these prayer requests have been on my heart since my arrival at YWAM Perth. I would greatly appreciate your intercession in these areas, and I will add more requests as I become aware of them.

My health: Since coming to YWAM, I’ve hurt both my feet from running, gotten a killer cold, and spent a day staring at the inside of a toilet bowl. In fact, I’ve been sicker in the past 2 weeks then I have been in years. Please pray that my body would adjust to the stresses of this new environment and my health wouldn’t be a hindrance to the work God has for me.

Guidance: I’ve been praying for God’s leading in my life both while I’m here and after DTS. I’m excited by the opportunities that have been presented to me and am eager to begin planning for the future, but I feel God is calling me to surrender my plans and wait for His guidance. Please pray that I would be patient and receptive to God’s will for me.      

My Fellow DTS Students: In my time here, I’ve grown very close to my fellow students. I’m so blessed to be surrounded by an incredible group of people who are passionately seeking after God. Although we’re all thankful to be here, the stresses of being away from home, living in community, and being emotionally and spiritually challenged every day are exhausting. As we often joke together, “The struggle is real!” Please pray we would be strengthened and unified through this experience and that each of us would dramatically grow in our relationship with God. 

The Priceless Ministry: The more I learn about human-trafficking, the more I’m inspired to make a difference, and that’s exactly what the Priceless Ministry does. Through prayer and intercession, developing relationships with exploited women, working with at-risk youth, partnering with local government and NGO’s, and raising community awareness, the Priceless Ministry is actively combating injustice in Australia and overseas. Youth With a Mission: The ministry of YWAM is so much bigger than the Priceless DTS, the Priceless ministry, or even YWAM Perth. Throughout the world, YWAM is impacting millions of lives by spreading the gospel, advocating for the voiceless, and providing for physical needs. In addition to thousands of humanitarian efforts, YWAM is discipling thousand of young people in their relationships with God through DTS and the University of the Nations. The Exploited: Human trafficking is the most heinous thing I’ve ever heard of, and the level of physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual damage it causes is severe. God’s desire is to see the captive set free, to release people from every physical and psychological chain that separates them from Him; He is the only one who can heal the wounds caused by trafficking. Pray that God would right every wrong, heal every hurt, and break every chain in the lives of trafficking victims.
